Supporting the ministry of the NWC is easy
The Northwest Conference is active in many ministry areas geared toward the local church. Some examples of how your donation might be used for ministry include:
Church Planting: We want to continue to plant new churches throughout our conference. Our denomination and conference sponsor these plants. The NWC cost per plant/per year is $25,000.
Children, Youth and Family: Adventures in Leadership provides hands on training for high school students at Adventurous Christians each summer. $500 will sponsor one student attending AIL.
Mission Development: We offer mission grants to congregations as they create new ministries in their communities. The average mission development grant is $2,000.
Pastoral Support: The NWC also offers counseling and support to our pastors and their families. $1,500 will provide professional counseling for one clergy family.
Give an unrestricted gift to the Northwest Conference: In addition to the above areas, the NWC participates in many other activities to promote healthy, missional churches in our region.
Annual Ministerial Dues
This is a reminder for all credentialed clergy that to remain in good standing with the Covenant Ministerium, you need to pay your annual dues. Normally, these are collected for your convenience alongside registration for the NWC Annual Meeting, but you can also pay dues online here:
