2018 Ministerial Association Retreat

The NWC Ministerial Association Retreat for pastors, church ministry staff, and spouses, will be held Oct. 8-10 at Pier B Resort in Duluth, MN.

Join us this year as we gather for rest, renewal and fellowship at Pier B, located in Duluth, MN, just steps away from the lift bridge in Canal park! This is the perfect time of year to gather as fall events have already kicked off in our ministry contexts, and the fall foliage and colors will just be entering into full effect.

This retreat is a 3 day/2 night intentional time created to bless those who do ministry in the Northwest Conference.

Speaker: Lance Davis

This year we are excited to have Lance Davis join us as our speaker. Lance serves as the Executive Minister of Develop Leaders. As a seasoned pastor for more than 25 years, he has a passion to develop and raise up leaders. In addition to his fruitful pastoral work Lance has a great deal of experience in community development in and around the Chicago area and has a heart for global engagement, particularly in Africa.

The theme of this year’s retreat will center around the concept of “Celebrating the Reality of Life and Hope for the Covenant.” Today the Church could stand for some encouragement. With so much bad news circulating, the Church is desperate for some good news. Join us as Lance talks about pathways towards celebrating God’s proclamation, “… I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord. Thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and an expected end” (Jeremiah 29:11). As Covenanters, we should not only celebrate our rich heritage of pietism and Christian fellowship, but we should also embrace and celebrate an “expected end” and hope for a glorious future.

Nuevo Pacto Covenant Church is a bilingual church in the heart of Minneapolis, one the most diverse cities in United States. He married Jacquelyn in 2008, and they have two kids, Arianna and Rebecca.

Jacquelyn Dell’Arciprete has worked side-by-side with her husband Mauricio in planting Nuevo Pacto Covenant Church for the last three and a half years.
